I will do as i promise ---- Eyitayo Jegede

In continuation of his campaign tour, the gubernatorial candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Eyitayo Jegede, has promised the residents of daada community along Oke Ala an improved way of life when voted as the Governor of Ondo State. 

Jegede who made the disclosure during his visit to the community today, noted that if elected, his administration will not pay lip services to the needs of the people. 

According to him, he said, "I was informed that this community suffers robust setback due to absence of social amenities like, light and water"

"If elected as Governor, I will resuscitate some moribund facilities and uplift the vulnerable out of penury"

"Also all the roads in the Nooks and Crannies will be reconstructed for smooth passage of pedestrians and travellers", he assured. 

The Guber candidate also told the residents of the community that he is more concerned about the future of the children in the community 

"It is not a good thing seeing a child that suppose to be in the school to be at home and the causes can either be that, the child is not able to pay school fees or there were no school to go"

"When voted as the Governor of Ondo State, i promised to make education my priority, we want a rapid growth in the educational sector 

He further assured the farmers that they will be empowered, adding that without the farmers there will be no food to eat 

"Our hope is for you all to come out in mass to cast your vote for PDP to enable us to fulfill our promises"

Speaking earlier, Peoples Democratic Party leader in the community Patrick Ojo thank Eyitayo Jegede for coming to visit them, adding that his administration when elected as the governor will Prosper the community and the state as a whole 

He expressed displeasure over lack of basic social amenities in the community. 

"In this community, we have bad roads, we lack Secondary schools, only two teachers are there in primary schools"

He however assured the People's Democratic Party candidate, Mr Eyitayo Jegede that the occupant in the community will cast their vote for PDP come October 10 governorship election
