Desist from spreading fake news, Monarch tells Nigerians

The Eleriti of Eriti in Akoko northwest local government of Ondo state, Oba Amos Ogunleye has urged Nigerians to desist from spreading fake news that can escalate the volatile situations due to Endsars protest nationwide.

The Monarch, while speaking to our correspondent disclose that, the peaceful protest by youth that was hijacked by hoodlums was highly regrettable. 

Eleriti also noted that traditional rulers need to play the roles of fathers to the youths by engaging them in dialogue at town hall community meetings.

He appealed government to come out with policies that will make the youths have sense of responsibility in governance.
