Ogbuogebe meets collaborating agencies, solicits synergy among them





The NYSC Oyo State Coordinator, Mrs Grace Ogbuogebe has called for synergy amongst the collaborating Agencies for the success of the forthcoming 2022 Batch 'B' (Stream l)Orientation course. 

Addressing the Heads of Assignments and Collaborating Agencies in a meeting held in her Office, she stated that the success of all orientation course recorded in the past, was hinged on the good working relationship amongst course participants and collaborators. 

Ogbuogebe also highlighted the rules guiding the orientation course which must be obeyed by all in order to achieve a hitch free orientation course. 

Reiterating on security, the State Coordinator said proper measures and precautions must be taken by every camp officials through strict vigilance to check mate any intruders . To achieve this objective, everyone/vehicle must be screened before given access into the camp. 

On drug control, she charged the officials of the NDLEA to scrutinize every item at the entrance of the camp to ensure that no corps member or official contravene the rule. She equally stated that an emergency patrol team must be adopted to check mate any peddling. 


The Coordinator, further charged all participants to ensure they are role models to the corps members, avoid over socialisation, and shun every sharp practice that will result to break down of discipline. 

Responding on behalf of the collaborating agencies ( the Nigeria Army, Nigeria Police, DSS, NDLEA, Fire Service, Red Cross, Man ‘O'War and NSCDC), the Camp Commandant Major Bisi Edmund, said that since the agencies are on camp for national assignment, they pledge to work as a team in other to achieve success. 

The Heads of Assignments used the Opportunity to brief the State Coordinator on their level of preparedness for the orientation course.
