Alhaji Ahmed Wada Ikaka visits Nysc in Oyo, harps on team work

The Director Planning Research and Statistics,National Youth Service Corps, Alhaji Ahmed Wada Ikaka FNIM (Chartered) has called on members of staff to work for the progress of the largest youth organization in Nigeria (NYSC) , which has made itself relevant in equipping Nigerian graduate youths with necessary Skills for National Development and integration.

This charge was handed down to the Staff of NYSC Oyo State when the Director paid a visit to the Secretariat. 
Alhaji Wada implored the staff to improve themselves both in their field and outside of it urging them to take advantage of the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development programme of NYSC. 

He also advised them to enrol for programs to widen their knowledge which would go a long way to benefit them even after their retirement.

He equally enjoined them to respect the higher authorities, while assuring them of the Management's determination to see that every staff enjoy job satisfaction.

The Director appealed to the staff to give the State Coordinator the desired cooperation in terms of team work, loyalty and honest commitment to the ideals of the noble Scheme .


Earlier in her remark, the State Coordinator, National Youth Service Corps Oyo State, Mrs Grace Ogbuogebe said she was pleased to receive the Director, stating that the NYSC is blessed to have leaders who have listening ears and have exhibited leadership qualities capable of projecting the Scheme in good light.

She expressed appreciation to the Director PRS for taking time to check on the staff and promised that the NYSC Oyo State staff will not let the Scheme down.

Present at the event were Assistant Directors, Zonal Inspectors, Local Government Inspectors and other officers of the Scheme
