The family of Adewumi of Ikere Ekiti, in Ikere local government area of the state is set to shut down the town for 3 days as they give their Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, Deacon Pa Emmanuel Adelodun Adewumi JP (Omo Ayiye of lkere Kingdom) a befitting burial.
One of his children, Otunba of Ikere Kingdom, Chief Sola Adewumi FCA, an Oil and shipping magnate cum hotelier while speaking about the burial arrangement said, the 3 days event will commence on Wednesday 30th November 2022, with a Tributes Night at Emmanuel Event Hall- Inspiration Hotel & Suites, Moshood Road, Ikere by 4 pm, while on Thursday 1st December 2022, Christian Wake /Service of Songs will take place at Emmanuel Event Hall-Inspiration Hotel & Suites, Moshood Road, Ikere Ekiti by 4:00 pm.
"On Friday 2nd December 2022, a Funeral Service will be held at Emmanuel Event Hall-Inspiration Hotel & Suites (under the supervision of Solution Baptist Church) by 10:00 am. Interment follows immediately at Papa's residence. The Reception follows immediately
"I Otunba of Ikere, Chief Sola Adewumi FCA and my pretty wife Erelu Kemi Adewumi are leaving no stone unturned to give our father, Deacon Pa Emmanuel Adelodun Adewumi JP (Omo Ayiye of lkere Kingdom) a befitting and memorable carnival-like burial.
Newsline NG however gathered that the Late. Deacon Pa Emmanuel Adelodun Adewumi JP (Omo Ayiye of lkere Kingdom) slept in the lord at the age of 104 years
