A Chieftain of APC in Ondo State and South West Director, Social and humanitarian, APC Presidential Campaign Council Chief Dr Alex Ajipe have declared year 2023 a year of new hope for Nigeria and Nigerians saying it's a fresh start to a great success
Ajipe in a statement by his media Aide Solomon Adewoye urged Nigerians to use the new year to renew their commitment to collective prosperity, growth and development by contributing more to nation building and shunning all forms of negative tendencies.
He also congratulated the people of the Ondo state urging them to continue to support the government of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu . He expressed confidence in efforts put in place by Akeredolu administration to continue to impact positively on the lives of the people of Ondo State.
As Nigerians our unique strengths and characters to overcome our challenges collectively have never been in doubt, what we need now more than ever is to galvanise these unique qualities for the good of all as permissible under a democratic set up.”
He urged Nigerians to continue to demonstrate love and exhibit compassion towards one another and extend hands of support to the less privileged and vulnerable members of the society.
“As a people, we must continue to imbibe the spirit of togetherness and love for one another. We must also support government at all levels by contributing our quota in the generation of wealth and alleviation of poverty in the land,” he said.
He however enjoined Nigerians to follow the path of progress by ensuring massive support for the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. He also charged the people of Ondo State to vote for all APC candidates in the coming general election saying the party has done well in the state and deserved to be voted for.
“Tinubu is a man that has shown immeasurable readiness to lead us as one indivisible nation to a new Nigeria,” Ajipe said
He noted that Nigeria needs a leader with a proven capacity to carry every body along and who would leverage on the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari in office.
He said that Tinubu had through his manifesto shown Nigerians the importance of electing him as the president at this point in time.
