A group named, Wale Akinterinwa Media Assembly, has congratulated Ondo state commissioner for Finance, Mr. Wale Akinterinwa, on award conferred on him by Yoruba Study Group as the Most Outstanding Democrat & Distinguished Personality of the Year 2022/2023 in the category of Golden Leadership Excellence Award.
The Yoruba Indigenous Group which was led by the Chairman, Board of Trustees who doubles as a renowned Actor, Chief (Dr.) Peter Fatomilola, said the group considered Mr. Akinterinwa for the award as a result of his exemplary leadership, contributions to democracy and humanitarian service rendered over the years.
The awardee, Mr. Akinterinwa, who is a leading aspirant for Ondo state governorship election billed for 2024, has indelible and outstanding records in the private and public sectors, especially as a third-term commissioner for Finance in Ondo State.
Reacting to the award, Wale Akinterinwa Media Assembly, a support group which fronts for the aspirant and awardee in the media spaces, stated that it was a well deserved one, stressing that Mr. Akinterinwa is noted for his exemplary leadership, service to humanity and advancing the cause of democracy.
The group congratulated him and declared that they are proud to identify with him always.
