All appears set in Ayede Ogbese, in Akure North Local Government area of Ondo State as the community is set to celebrate the 65th birthday of the Renowned Monarch, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ajibola Olaleye Oluyede, Iseoluwa II in grandstyle.
The event in collaboration with Fellowship of Christian Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (FECTRON) and De Emeralds, (a multi award-winning mass choristers) is scheduled to hold on Friday, October 20 to Sunday, October 22, 2023 at the Royal Ranch of the town.
Newsline NG learnt that no fewer than 1,000 people will benefit from a free health checks outlined for the event
Speaking with Newsline NG, HRH Olori Olufunmilayo Nejo-Oluyede, the much-cherished, eminent wife of the monarch, noted that the essence of the event is to Give God the glory over the life of her beloved husband, Oba Oluyede, the wonderful people of Ayede Ogbese at large since enthronement.
Her words, "the all-inclusive celebration is to give thanks to God Almighty for the gift of life more abundantly for my beloved husband, Oba Oluyede, for the wonderful people of Ayede Ogbese and the peace, tranquility and progress in Ayede Ogbese township since Kabiyesi’s enthronement.
While reeling out the outline of the event, the organizers of the event, FECTRON’s Pastor John (Kollyns) Kolawole, De Emerald’s Icon Gbenga Obagbemi and the town’s High Chief Femi Fajembimo, disclosed that “there will be a football tournament on Friday 20th October 2023 with free health checks and free drugs dispensed to at least 1,000 people of all ages at Comprehensive High School, Ayede Ogbese from the hours of 9am to 4pm on Friday the 20th and Saturday the 21st. “
