Oluwasegun Precious Olamide, a student of AUD Comprehensive High School (AUDCHS) Owo, Ondo State, has emerged among the top scorers in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with an impressive total of 346 out of 400.
The 16-year-old Oluwasegun is ranked among the top one per cent of candidates nationwide who scored above 300 in the highly competitive exam.
His emergence as one of the top performers, makes his parents, school and Owo Community Proud in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Oluwasegun scored an impressive 346, with remarkable grades of 98 in both Mathematics and Physics.
Precisely, Oluwasegun with reg number: 202550662902EF scored an impressive 346, with remarkable grades of 98 in both Mathematics and Physics. He also scored 71 in English and 79 in chemistry.
Reacting, Oluwasegun who won the 1st position in the 1st edition of the Falaye Science and Mathematics Olympiad (FSMO) in 2024 admits that the almighty God has been his source of strength and wisdom to achieve great thing in his studies.
He recalled that many factors contributed to his ability to achieve the feat.
"The investment of the Ondo State government in injecting quality staffs into the secondary school system; with the efforts of independent education sponsors like Dr Foluso Falaye who organized the 6-month FSMO intensive coaching for me and 19 others in Owo, coupled with support from dedicated teachers at AUDCHS all made this outstanding UTME score possible.
"Currently AUD Comprehensive High School, Owo students we've been doing well in winning various competitions in Owo, Ondo State", he added.
