The Nigerian Communications Commission, Ondo State Secretariat, on Wednesday extended a hand of support to Corps Members at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Ikare-Akoko via donation of essential food items.
The thoughtful contribution was made as part of the Commission’s corporate social responsibility aimed at enhancing the welfare of the 2025 Batch ‘A’ (Stream 1) Corps Members and supporting the ongoing orientation exercise in the state.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Scheme, the NYSC State Coordinator, Mrs. Kuburat Omowumi Bakare expressed sincere appreciation to the Commission, describing the gesture as timely and impactful.
According to her, 'I appreciate the Nigerian Communications Commission for their timely support and for lending a hand of succour to the Corps Members. This gesture is a commendable demonstration of corporate social responsibility and an indication of NCC’s commitment to youth development and national service. We deeply appreciate your continued support and look forward to a sustained partnership in the future'.
The NCC delegation was led by Engr. Adeniyi Adebowale A., who acknowledged the warm reception from the camp management and reiterated the Commission’s resolve to contribute meaningfully to national service and youth empowerment.
