OSOPADEC: APC stalwart, Hon Oluwadamisi Okuntade congratulates Prince Biyi Poroye on his appointment





A seasoned grassroots politician, community developer and stalwart of the All Progressive Congress (APC) from Aheri ward in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State, Hon. (Prince) Oluwadamisi Dickson Okuntade, has congratulated Hon. Biyi Poroye on his appointment as the Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC).

Hon. Okuntade commended His Excellency, Hon. (Dr.) Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for appointing Hon. Poroye and other board members, describing the appointments as a square peg in a square hole. He expressed confidence that the new leadership of OSOPADEC would bring about accelerated infrastructural development in the mandate area.

Hon. Okuntade, who is a former Special Assistant to Governor, described Hon. Poroye as a seasoned administrator whose wealth of experience would be invaluable to the commission. He urged the new chairman and board members to hit the ground running and work tirelessly to ensure that the commission's objectives are achieved.

The APC stalwart also congratulated other board members, including Malam Marlon Ogbaro, who was appointed as the Executive Director, Finance and Dr. Olujimi Kufo, who was appointed as the Executive Director, Projects. He as well extended felicitations to Mr. Ola Judah, Engr. Raphael Adegboye, Mrs Ronke Benjamin Efurubu, Mr. Adeyemi Abiye, Esq., Hon. Bayo Anifowose, Mr. Lawrence Tibiebi Steven, Hon. Aderonke Oladun, Mrs Grace Abebi Aruwajoye and Mr. Dele Adenuoye who were appointed as Non-Executive (part-time) Members.

Hon. Okuntade praised Governor Aiyedatiwa for his commitment to the development of oil-producing communities in Ondo State. He said that the governor's appointments were a clear demonstration of his desire to ensure that the people of the state benefit from the resources available to them.

He wished Prince Poroye and other individuals appointed on the board a fruitful tenure in office.
