State coord fulfills operational promise to the workforce in Ondo

From a departure of long promises associated with the Public Service structure, the NYSC Ondo State Coordinator, Mrs. Kuburat Omowumi Bakare has shown that leadership should go beyond mere official rhetorics.

The State Coordinator walked the talk as all the Branches and Units got the usual compassionate side of the cerebral and outstanding administrator, whose pedigree has become a yardstick for others to emulate.

Since returning from the 2025 Batch 'A' (Stream 1) orientation course, the Secretariat has worn a better look with sets of furniture provided for both the management and some categories of staff.

Not only that, Bakare, who believes very much in effective service delivery, has purchased working tools, such as digital Acer DLP Projector, Laptops and HP Laserjet 1400 Professional Printer for Branches and Units to aid their work.

While presenting these working tools for optimal performance in the Secretariat, the State Coordinator who is a reputable big spender when it comes to achieving the best said that the provision of sets of furniture and other work tools will enhance the corporate image and efficiency of staff of the Scheme in Ondo State.

"It is a known fact globally that provision of modern tools to aid official work will not only enhance the corporate image of an organization but equally boost the morale of the officers. This is not going to be the last, as I can assure you that it would be a continuous process and improvement on what is on ground".

She appealed to the beneficiaries to handle government properties handed over to them with utmost care as the equipments are fragile in line with modern-day technological specifications, adding that staff should improve on their maintenance culture and put the tools to judicious use.

Receiving some of the items from the State Coordinator, the Assistant Director/Head, Human Resource Management, Mrs. Adejoke Ayodele Fasola promised on behalf of the benefiting Branches and Units that those items would be protected and guarded jealously.

Fasola hinted that staff had been lectured on how to handle official equipment, and asserted that the State Coordinator would not regret her investment in the Secretariat.

With these latest acquisition, members of staff can raise their shoulders high whenever they come to work as they will feel fulfilled working in a more inviting and attractive environment.

The NYSC Ondo State boss, since assumption of office some nine months ago, has spent millions of naira to upgrade facilities both at the NYSC Secretariat located within Federal Secretariat Complex in Akure, the state capital and NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Ikare-Akoko.
