Veteran Broadcaster, Johnson Olajide Ibikunle (Mr. Gbeborun), Is De@d.

The media industry has been thrown into mourning following the death of Johnson Olajide Ibikunle, popularly known as Mr. Gbeborun.

The renowned broadcaster, widely celebrated for his unique voice and engaging presentation style, passed away after years of contributing immensely to the growth of radio broadcasting.

Until his death, Mr. Gbeborun was admired for his professionalism, humour, and passion for storytelling qualities that endeared him to listeners and colleagues alike.

May his soul rest in peace.

The Ondo State Internal Revenue Service (ODIRS) has issued a response to a misleading report circulating online titled, “ODIRS HR Head, Jemilat Yusuf, Nabbed by Anti-Graft Agency Over Alleged ₦900 Million Fraud. ” ODIRS management firmly asserts that this report is entirely false and misleading, representing a deliberate attempt to tarnish the reputation of the Service and its dedicated officials. To clarify: No staff member of ODIRS, including Mrs. Jemilat Yusuf, the Head of Human Resources, has been arrested, detained, or investigated by any anti-graft agency for financial misconduct. The allegation of a ₦900 million fraud is completely unfounded and lacks any basis in fact or financial records of the Service.
