Why Hon. Kenneth Odusola-Stevenson is the Best Choice for Ilaje/Ese-Odo

By Taiwo Gbamila,  Publisher Coastal Renaissance News

Following the political crinkle crankle of Ilaje and Ese-Odo Local Governments, and the evolving political landscape of Ondo State, a name that continues to resonate with integrity, performance, and visionary leadership is Hon. Kenneth Odusola-Stevenson, the current Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Ondo State Radiovision Corporation (OSRC).

As the call for capable and people-oriented leadership in Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency grows louder, Hon. Odusola stands out as a compelling and timely answer.

 A Technocrat with Proven Leadership

Hon. Kenneth Odusola’s impressive track record as the head of OSRC is a testament to his ability to transform vision into tangible results. Under his watch, OSRC has experienced a renaissance - technological upgrades, content revitalization, increased public engagement, and a renewed sense of relevance in the state’s media landscape. In this little time he has spent in office, he has brought innovation, transparency, and strategic direction to a state-owned media platform once seen as moribund, gasping  for departure.

If he could revamp an entire media corporation within a limited time with limited resources, imagine what he could do for a federal constituency rich in human and natural resources but plagued by underdevelopment and political neglect.

Why Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency Needs Him (Kenneth Odusola)

The Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency, predominantly inhabited by the Ilaje, Ijaw and Apoi people, remains one of the most underrepresented and underserved constituencies in Ondo State. Despite its wealth in oil and gas, aquatic resources, and strategic coastal position, the area suffers from perennial flooding, poor infrastructure, lack of youth and women empowerment programmes, and minimal federal presence.

What the constituency needs now more than ever is not just a selfish politician, but a visionary; not just a representative, but a builder - someone who understands development, governance, and strategic communication. Hon. Odusola’s background in media and public service gives him an edge in mobilizing national attention and resources for the constituency’s unique challenges.

Grassroots Connection, National Outlook

Though he currently serves in a technocratic capacity, Odusola has maintained strong roots in his community. He understands the pulse of the people - what they need, what they lack, and what they deserve. His ability to bridge the gap between government policies and community realities is a skill desperately needed in federal representation.

Moreover, his expansive network within the state and federal corridors of power positions him as someone who can advocate effectively for Ilaje/Ese-Odo, ensuring that critical projects are not just proposed, but executed effectively and efficiently.

A Loaded Fellow in Every Sense Of Human Endeavour

When people say Hon. Kenneth Odusola is “loaded,” it goes beyond financial capability. He is loaded with experience, integrity, ideas, empathy, and the kind of modern leadership that inspires confidence in both the old and the young generations. He has the intellectual firepower and administrative acumen to bring about the long-overdue transformation of Ilaje/Ese-Odo.

 A Call to Duty

As 2027 general election approaches, the political climate in Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency is beginning to hit up for shift, the people of Ilaje/Ese-Odo deserve a voice that will not be drowned out in the National Assembly - a voice that commands respect, speaks truth to power, the mind that speaks the mind of God for the people and delivers development. Hon. Kenneth Odusola, by every metric, is that voice.

Now is the time for the people to rally around a man with impregnable integrity and ingenuity, who has been tested, trusted, and ready to serve. Hon. Odusola may not have declared his intention, but the message from the grassroots is clear: He is needed.
