Elizade University's Annual Registry Lecture Holds Friday


Elizade University, Ilara‑Mokin, Ondo State, will on Friday, December 5, 2025 host its 8th Annual Registry Lecture at 10:00 a.m. in the Faculty of Law Auditorium  of the institution

The event, organized by the university’s Registry, is expected to draw senior academics, policymakers and students from across the country.

According to the institution's Registrar, Omololu Adegbenro, the lecture “aims at achieving a versatile university system with global best practices on a sustainable basis

He added that the event will provide “deep insights into the strengths, challenges, and future directions of the Nigerian university system, enriching our collective understanding and inspiring institutional development. 

"The lecture, titled "The Nigerian University System: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly” will be delivered by the distinguished Vice‑Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Prof. Adenike Temidayo Oladiji ,

"Presiding over the session will be Elder statesman Basorun Sehinde Arogbofa, a revered elder of the Yoruba community

"This lecture is particularly significant as it will provide deep insights into the strengths, challenges, and future directions of the Nigerian university system, an intellectual engagement that promises to enrich our collective understanding and inspire institutional development. He said
