Ilaje Chieftaincy Committee Hails Seven Indigenes Appointed as Permanent Secretaries







The Ilaje Chieftaincy Committee has extended warm congratulations to seven distinguished sons and daughters of Ilaje land on their recent appointments and today's inauguration as Permanent Secretaries in the Ondo State Civil Service by the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

In a statement signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Committee, HRM Oba Segun Williams Akinyomi, the Amapetu of Mahin Land and HRM Oba (Dr.) Obafemi Ogbaro JP, the Odoka of Obe-Ogbaro Dynasty of Ogbaro Land respectively. The leadership described the appointments as a well-deserved recognition of competence, dedication, and years of meritorious service to the state.

The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries include Mrs. Morayo M. Bayo-Philip, Mr. Tope Lebile, Mr. Stephen R. Aworere, Mrs. Ope Adetoye, Mrs. Oluseyi Odusola, Dr. (Mrs.) Abike Bayo-Ilawole, and Mr. Ileri Olusegun Orisabinone.

The committee noted that the elevation of the seven Ilaje indigenes to such strategic administrative positions reflects the growing impact and contributions of Ilaje professionals in the public service sector of Ondo State. According to the statement, their appointments have brought pride and honour to Ilaje Kingdom and further strengthened the community’s representation within the state’s administrative structure.

While commending the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for recognizing capable individuals for critical leadership roles in the civil service, the committee urged the appointees to see their new responsibilities as an opportunity to further demonstrate integrity, diligence, and excellence in service delivery.

“The Ilaje nation is proud of your achievements. Your appointments are not only a testament to your personal dedication and professionalism, but also a source of inspiration to the younger generation from Ilaje land who aspire to serve with distinction.”

The committee expressed confidence that the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries would contribute significantly to policy implementation, administrative efficiency, and the continued development of Ondo State.

It also offered prayers for wisdom, strength, and success as Governor inaugurates them today and assume their new roles in the service of the state and humanity.

The Ilaje Chieftaincy Committee reaffirmed its commitment to celebrating excellence among Ilaje sons and daughters and encouraging greater participation of the community in governance and public service.
