Jamb releases 2026 UTME results Today

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced that results of candidates who sat for the opening day of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination will be released on Friday.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by the board’s Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, on Friday.

According to the statement, candidates who participated in the examination on Thursday, April 16, are expected to access their results before midnight, once the processing exercise is completed.

The statement read in part, “Candidates who sat for the 2026 UTME on Thursday, April 16, should expect the release of their results later today, before midnight.”

The board further stated that a formal announcement would be made on its official platforms immediately the results are ready.

The 2026 UTME commenced nationwide on Thursday, with over 2.2 million candidates expected to participate in the exercise across accredited Computer-Based Test centres between April 16 and April 22.

JAMB noted that the examination is being conducted in multiple sessions daily to reduce overcrowding and strengthen verification procedures across centres.

Candidates were advised to keep track of updates through the board’s official communication channels regarding the release of their results.
