APPLICATION FOR 3RD FOLA ABOLARINDE MEMORIAL MEDICAL AND NURSING AWARDS NOW OUT
Medical and nursing students across Nigerian public universities and schools of nursing are hereby invited to apply for the annual Fola Abolarinde Medical Award for the 2026 edition.
The award was instituted in 2024 by Otunba Victor Abolarinde in memory of his late father, Mr. Fola Abolarinde – a pioneer medical practitioner in the old Ondo State, who championed many developmental projects in Igogo Ekiti, such as electrification projects in the 80s and the historic creation of Ekiti State.
Interested candidates are to submit online application to be submitted in PDF or Word Format, not later than 25th August 2026.

The father of candidate must be a native of Igogo Ekiti by birth
Where only mother is from Igogo Ekiti, she must have evidence of payment of relevant dues
Candidate must provide evidences listed below to support claim
Students in private and foreign institutions not qualified
Courses outside MBBS, Radiology, Dentistry, Forensic Medicine and Nursing programmes not acceptable.
Requirements:
JAMB letter of admission
Academic progress report from HOD/College Secretary/Provost (where applicable)
Certificate of Local Government Area of origin
Evidence of payment of 2026 annual dues by parent
