AMG Mobilises Support for Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election








The Asiwaju Mandate Group in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State has commenced mobilisation and grassroots sensitisation across the local government in support of the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The mobilisation was spearheaded under the leadership of the Minister of State for Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and brought together progressive-minded leaders and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from various communities and wards across Odigbo Local Government.

The meeting attracted political leaders and stakeholders from areas including Koseru, Ajue, Odigbo, Oniparaga and Ore, among others, who gathered to deliberate on strategies for strengthening grassroots support for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking at the meeting, former Chairman of Odigbo Local Government, Hon. Olatunde Felix, who represented the Asiwaju Mandate Group in the local government, reaffirmed the group's determination to mobilise massive support for President Tinubu across the council area.

Olatunde said the group was prepared to work tirelessly at the grassroots to ensure that Odigbo Local Government records overwhelming support for the President at the polls.

He noted that the various leaders and stakeholders within the group were united by their belief in the leadership and policies of President Tinubu, stressing that the administration deserved continued support to consolidate its ongoing reforms and development programmes.




According to him, the group would intensify its engagement with residents, party members, youths, women and other stakeholders across the local government in order to sensitise them on the achievements and policies of the Tinubu administration.

Other speakers at the meeting also expressed confidence in President Tinubu and pledged their commitment to supporting his re-election through the political structure and mobilisation efforts of the Asiwaju Mandate Group.

One of the respondents, Hon. Oladosun Johnson, described the formation of the group across Ondo State as a strategic initiative capable of strengthening support for the President at the grassroots.

Oladosun commended Hon. Tunji-Ojo for facilitating the creation and expansion of the group across the state, describing the Minister as a leader whose interventions and generosity had continued to impact positively on the people.

He said members of the group were ready to mobilise extensively across the communities and wards of Odigbo Local Government, with the objective of ensuring strong electoral support for President Tinubu in 2027.

Also speaking, Hon. Mrs. Funmilayo Odelola, former APC Woman Leader in Ore Ward, reaffirmed her support for the President and expressed optimism that the growing mobilisation would translate into strong grassroots backing for the Tinubu administration.

She called for unity among APC members and stakeholders, urging them to work together and take the message of the administration's programmes and achievements to the people at the grassroots.

The meeting further provided an opportunity for party leaders and members to discuss the need for sustained grassroots mobilisation, unity and effective coordination ahead of the next general elections.


The participants pledged to remain committed to the ideals of the APC and to work collectively through the Asiwaju Mandate Group to mobilise support for President Tinubu across Odigbo Local Government.


The group maintained that with sustained mobilisation and cooperation among political leaders, stakeholders and grassroots supporters, Odigbo would play a significant role in delivering substantial electoral support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
