The Ondo State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations applauds the appointment of Mr Olusegun Hakeem Adebumiti, the Editor-in- Chief and Publisher of the online Precision newspaper as the Senior Media Aide to the Ondo State Gubernatorial Aspirant under the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Dr Bode Ayorinde.
In a release yesterday jointly E-signed by the chairman and secretary of the institue, Lamidi Ishola and Omosule Sunday, who noted that "Adebumiti's appointment as a round peg in a round hole going by his pedigree as an urbane journalist with vast experience in journalism"
The statement briefly reads, "We consider Mr Adebumiti's appointment as a round peg in a round hole going by his pedigree as an urbane journalist with vast experience in journalism"
"The new appointee who had Bachelor and Master Degrees in Mass Communications from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba- Akoko and the University of Benin respectively, is an Associate Member of the Nigerian lnstitute of Public Relations(ANIPR)"
"We are rest assured that Mr Adebumiti's rich educational and professional background will undoubtedly stand him in good stead in his new appointment."
"We, however, wish to assure him of our support in his new assignment"
