The General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Dr Daniel Kolawole Olukoya has donated relief materials to the Government, members and non-members of the church to cushion the effect of COVID-19 lockdown in Nigeria.
The Church made donations of Medical Relief Materials to Lagos State Government which was received by the First Lady Dr. (Mrs) Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu and the Chief of Staff, Mr. Tayo Ayinde recently at the State House Marina.
Amongst the items received were cartons of hand gloves, face masks, Hypo chloride solution and an ambulance which was delivered by Assistant General Overseer.
The church has also delivered food items to members across the country through the House Fellowship leaders, including the indigents in the society who are non-members.
In his words, Olukoya said, “We are passionate about the well-being and needs of our members and the society at large. To make this initiative a success, we have delivered food supplies to members and friends of the ministry through our house fellowship structure, to ensure it gets to the grassroot.
“Further more, food supplies such as rice, garri, beans, noodles, tomato paste, yams and more were made available to the vulnerable members of the society (the aged, children, widows & widowers and more) who necessarily were not members of the church.
“Due to restriction of movement, cash donations worth millions of naira were transferred to a large number of people who couldn’t get food supplies.
“The church will stop at nothing to ensure that members and friends of the ministry who are in need are catered for during this period; even as we pray for God’s intervention for a permanent seizure of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Other relief materials such as sanitizers, hand gloves and face masks were sent to Primary Health Care centres in Various states and communities on behalf of the church through members of ‘We Care’ (arm of the church that cares for the needy) and Evangelism groups.
