Barely some days after an undergraduate was raped and murdered in Edo state, another rape case has been recorded in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.
This time, it is a more terrible situation as three teenagers were said to have gang rapped a 17year old girl
Recall that, two different cases were recorded two days ago.
The issue of rape has now become a daily occurrence in Ekiti State.
Roundoffnews gathered that the incident happened at Oja Oba area of Ado Ekiti at about 7pm of Monday.
The victim a 17year old girl was said to be hawking sachet water when the boys who were regular faces in the area forced her to a corner and gang raped her.
The teenager was taken to the hospital where the case of rape was established.
Report has it that the office of the wife of the governor which was notified paid for the hospital bill of the survivor.
When contacted, the Ekiti State Police Public Relations Officer, Sunday Abutu confirmed the incident to Roundoffnews.
He said two of the suspects have been arrested for further investigation.
