The management of Rufus Giwa polytechnic, Owo, has today released the procedure for the 2020 /2021 Academic Unionism election.
This was unveiled this evening in a circular released and signed by the Director, Students Affairs Mr M.O. OLOYE.
He stated that the Unionism election for the next semester will start tomorrow with the SUG, whole Hall executives will hold tomorrow Wednesday, 21st of April, 2021, between 8am to 2pm and 3pm to 5pm respectively.
While explaining procedure in the E-Voting process, Oloye says, "Possession of an internet enabled phone, getting the username and password through bulk SMS message, Opening the portal through the link from the bulk SMS, Entering the received username and password, Clicking on log in, Copy and paste the token number displayed in red into the box showing enter your token, Clicking proceed, then Vote the candidate of your choice, which will only last for 25 minutes, and Click end voting"
He however, advise the students to kindly carry out the exercise in peaceful manner.
