Why we sign MOU with Best Solution Polytechnic Akure ----FUOYE




The Management of Federal University Oye-Ekiti, FUOYE, has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Best Solution Polytechnic, Akure, for the adoption of the Top Up and Conversion Programme of the University. 

This land breaking event took place on Thursday, March 25, 2021at the Vice Chancellor’s Office. 

By this MoU, Best Solution Polytechnic will run the Akure Centre of the programme on behalf of FUOYE. 

The Top Up Programme is designed to assist Higher National Diploma, (HND), holders undergo more training to acquire bachelor's degree.

While welcoming his guests, the Vice Chancellor, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, FUOYE, Professor Abayomi Sunday Fasina described the collaboration as very significant. 

In his words, “We are looking forward to working with you. I want to assure you that my team will visit the Akure centre without prior notice to really ascertain the activities going around there. We want to thank you very much for the support the centre has extended to the University” he concluded.

In a brief chat with FUOYENews, founder of Best Solution Polytechnic Akure, Dr. Michael Abiodun who was obviously elated at this privileged understanding with FUOYE, expressed joy at the smooth process of the collaboration adding that HND holders now have opportunity to convert their diploma to a degree. This he said was equally applicable to those who possess certificate in marketing to also acquire a degree possibly in Accounting.

Dr. Abiodun further stressed that , "This is the development that happened today and we thank God that under the able leadership of Professor Abayomi Sunday Fasina, we were able to successfully achieve the signing of this MoU", stressing that the collaboration between the two institutions would produce an . enviable result. 

The FUOYE Director of Top Up and Conversion Programme, Dr. Hammed Olaide Sakiru while chatting with FUOYENews on the sidelines of the exercise, disclosed that the signing of MoU with Best Solution Polytechnic, brought to five (5) the number of institutions in partnership with FUOYE for its Top Up and Conversion Programme.

Some principal officers of the University who witnessed the signing of the MoU include Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), Professor J. S. Omotola, the Registrar, Mr. Olatunbosun Odusanya, University Bursar, Mrs Bolatito Roseline Akande and Admin Secretary, Top Up and Conversion Program, Mr. D.A. Fatuase
