Dr. Charles Israel Afolabi who doubles as the President of University of the third age - U3A, Nigeria and Fire Academy Nigeria (FAN) clocks 75 years of age on Monday, 2nd of August
One of his daughters, Mrs Oluwatosin Adegboye while speaking with Newsline NG, noted that she decided to orchestrate a mini birthday surprise for her father
She stated that "though he clocks 75 years of age on Monday, but i decided to celebrate it on Saturday, so i put a call across to his siblings to be present at the birthday surprise".
In his reaction, Dr Charles Israel Afolabi thanked his children and siblings for putting up a surprise birthday for him
"Honestly, I am short of words by the birthday surprise, i never expect this will come up, it is one of the best days of my life,
The Surprise Birthday was witnessed by his siblings, Children among which are, Mrs Oluwatosin Adegboye, Mrs Oladapo (Iya ibeji), Mrs Iyabo Ogunnusi, Mr Lanre Afolabi, Mr Felix Afolabi, Mr Funsho Afolabi, Mrs Adeyemi Daodu (Muye), Omo'ba Kayode Afolabi.
