All is now set in Owo, as a renowned christian group, Youth Rescue Mission (YRM), set to kick-start its retreat basically meant for children and teenagers in October.
The group made this known in a statement obtained by Newsline NG on Friday.
The retreat, according to the statement is slated for October 15th and 16th, 2021 at St. Matthew Primary School, Otapete-Owo, in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The Chairman of YRM, Akinbolade Oluwasegun, said the upcoming programme is aimed at reinvigorating the spiritual lives of teenagers and children.
He explained that prevailing social vices and societal decadence might find its way into the midst of children if bold steps like the retreat was not scheduled.
He further stated that if social vices continues to reign, wrong leaders might be co-opted into the state of affairs.
However, he urged parents and guardians to ensure their wards attend the upcoming programme in order to nip crisis social vices in the bud.
