The Ondo state security outfit codenamed Amotekun Corps have arrested 18 suspects for allegedly importing 500 dangerous weapons into the state.
Parading the suspects before newsmen in Akure, the Amotekun commander chief Tunde Adeleye said the suspects were in three buses were coming from Katsina State before they were intercepted in Ondo Town after getting intelligence of their intentions to bring those weapons into the state.
Chief Adeleye said two of the buses escaped after hot chace while the one arrested were taken back to Akure.
