A retired Deputy Director, Mrs Chinwe Florence Ojukwu has charged the 2021 Batch C Stream one Corps Members deployed to Ogun State to take the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) Training Seriously as there are no white collar jobs out there.
Mrs Ojukwu gave the charge while delivering a Motivational Talk to the corps members at the Multipurpose Hall of the Sagamu Orientation Camp.
She said that ex corps members who took the training serious during their service year are now employers of labour.
The retired Deputy Director while enjoining the corps members to respect the traditions and cultures of their host communities encouraged them to settle down in their host communities after their service year.
She noted that doing so will help to Foster unity and National intergratiom which is one of the mandates of the NYSC Scheme.
Ojukwu also charged the corps members to be good ambassadors of the Scheme any where they may find themselves.
Earlier, the NYSC Ogun State Coordinator Dr Mrs Belinda Ameze Faniyi while welcoming Mrs Ojukwu described her as a woman with sterling qualities and a role model to the youths.
The event was well attended .
