Ondo State Coordinator expresses satisfaction over corps members' performances


The NYSC Ondo State Coordinator, Mrs. Victoria Nnenna Ani after watching the platoon drill competition of the 2021 Batch 'C' (Stream 1) corps members declared all platoons as winners.

The State Coordinator who was supported by other Principal camp officials asserted that the determination and commitment displayed by the corps members was an indication that there is still hope for the youths of this country.

"My highly disciplined corps members, I am very proud of you because of the superlative performance you have displayed during the competition. If you can adapt to changes within these two weeks, then I have no doubt that you will make me proud in your various places of primary assignment".



The commendation you have received so far from different personalities that have visited the camp tells me that with the right atmosphere, our youths can turn the hopeless situation around for better. What you have done today is an indication that you are not a wasted generation" she said.

The NYSC Ondo State boss acknowledged the untiring efforts displayed by the Camp Commandant, Major Stephen Ajakaiye and his men as well as panel of judges who were declared incorruptible by the entire camp community.



At the end of the well orchestrated competition which was spiced up with command performance by the drill instructors, platoon number one came top ahead of number 10 and number 5 platoons which came second and third respectively.

The wooden spoon which signifies that organisers recognised the participation of a platoon was won by number 9 platoon while the overall parade commander silverware was won by the Parade Commander of number 5 platoon.
