The leaders and executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC), ward 1 in Ikole Local Government has played host to Hon. Dayo Ajibaye in Ootunja Ekiti.
The leaders in a meeting which was held on Sunday took turns to commend and appreciate Hon. Dayo Ajibaye and his efforts in moving the ward forward.
Speaking at the meeting, the ward chairman, Mr. Ojo popularly known as Onigi Obi describe Hon. Dayo Ajibaye as a true son of the soil who has represented the community well.
The executives of the party however praised Ajibaye for his humanitarian service and support to the community at large.
The leaders and the executives while demonstrating their support for Hon. Dayo Ajibaye all agreed to work as an indivisible unit to move the ward forward and to preach the gospel of the flag bearer of All Progressives Congress in the coming election Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji popularly known as BAO
In the same vein , The Baaro of Ootunja, Chief Adesola Ayodele, the Baaro of Ootunja Ekiti said "it came as no surprise to me the testament to your good deeds, because I know your ability".
The Chief thereafter promised to canvass more for the All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate in the state and the ambition of Hon. Ajibaye to represent his constituency.
In his reactions, Hon. Dayo Ajibaye while addressing the party leaders and the executives expressed his gratitude to God almighty and appreciated the leaders for their support so far.
He encouraged everybody to gear up and intensify the gospel of BAO in the communities as it is a unifying cause.
"I promise not to let you down". He said
In the same vein, it was a celebration galore at igbonna in Ikole local government as party members rolled out drums and song to welcome their own "Omo Ayiye" (The good child), Hon. Dayo Ajibaye to thier midst.
Party members from three communities, Ootunja Ekiti, Asin Ekiti and Igbonna Ekiti chanted Dayo Ajibaye to attest to his acceptability when the Party Chairman introduced Hon. Dayo Ajibaye as the man of the moment
Speaking at the ward meeting, the Vice Chairman of Oreniwa LCDA Hon. Bunmi Oluboba, described Ajibaye as a man Ward 1 look up to for better recognition within the party structure at the Local government level and state level as well,
She however assured Hon. Dayo Ajibaye of their support and that of the gubernatorial flag bearer, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji
In his address to the mammoth gathering Hon. Dayo Ajibaye appreciated the party members for their reception and support all along.
It is high time for our youths from the ward to have a glimpse into the plans he has for them
"Human capacity building is his priority and i want all youths across my constituency to be gainfully engaged,
He however declared that he'll be coming back soon to declare his interest to contest for a seat in the chambers of the Ekiti State House of assembly and promised to do better and deliver on a very robust, open and inclusive representation if elected.
Meanwhile, earlier in the week Hon. Dayo Ajibaye met with Party leaders across his Constituency, Ikole Constituency 1 to discuss his ambition and he was accepted warmly and assured of their support.
