Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo has explained why he had a physical fight with some touts when he visited his hometown in ilaro, Ogun state
In a viral video monitored by Newsline NG, the thespian was seen fighting with some touts who approached him asking for money when he visited his site at his hometown
The scenario has generated missed reactions in Social Media early on Saturday(Today)
Sharing his side of the story, the veteran revealed that he had gone to his hometown of Ilaro to inspect a project when unknown guys walked up to him for the normal self appraisals,
"The appraisal was to collect money from me which i eventually succumbed to.
"One of the guys, who seemed to have the me in mind, dragged me after draining my wallet to engage in a scuffle with me
I flared up and lost my calmness when the tout held tightly to my agbada said he wouldn’t leave me until i meet their demand.
"The tout told me to do my worse, and at that instant i flared up and blows were exchanged.
The other touts joined their colleague in fighting the actor and his partner
Ogogo said "Please stop harassing actors or entertainers, do you pay anyone for doing your job, No, it’s our job too. Accept all we offer when we do. Remember, once a boxer always a boxer.
In the video he uploaded on Instagram, one of the touts seemed to have damaged the actor’s car.
Newsline NG however gathered that some Nollywood actors with the likes of ; Afeez Owo, Ijebu, Bimpe Akintunde, Ibrahim Chatta and others has expressed concern for over the scenario, regarding it as an uncalled experience
