Ogbuogebe meet Heads of Assignments, Collaborating agencies, harps on team work





The NYSC Oyo State Coordinator, Mrs Grace Ogbuogebe has charged the Heads of Assignments and the Collaborating agencies to adopt harmonious working relationship towards the success of the forthcoming 2022 Battch ‘C’ Stream one Orientation Course.

She stated this at the pre-camp meeting of Heads of Assignments and the Collaborating partners held in the State Coordinator’s Office at the NYSC Secretariat , Ibadan.


Speaking at the meeting, Mrs Grace Ogbuogebe who was represented by the Assistant Director,Corps Inspection and Monitoring, Mrs Olabimpe Olusesi said to achieve a hitch free Orientation exercise, every official must work with passion and team spirit and let discipline be their watchword as they go about discharging their duties in camp.

She said all camp officials must be resident in camp and nobody should exit the camp without permission.

She stated that the Management has made it  mandatory for anyone that has a reason to leave the camp to write to the Director General for permission. 

Ogbuogebe also harped on the need for camp officials to subject themselves to COVID-19 test and comply with all the safety protocols. 

She equally warned against extortion of corps members under whatever guise and that they should not be made to contribute money for anything.

She added that every confidential information at the disposal of anyone should not be divulged and decorum should be maintained in all camp activities. 

On Security, Assistant Director, Planning Research and Statistics, Mrs Mariam Umogah stated that though the NYSC has put all security apparatus in place to ensure the safety of the camp community,the issue of safety should not be left in the hands of the security agencies alone but all hands must be on deck to ensure the camp is safe. 


She also said the NYSC Management has directed that only lectures approved by the NDHQ should be delivered during lecture series and SAED sessions. 

The Heads of Assignments and the Collaborating Partners also stated their level of preparedness towards ensuring a hitch free orientation exercise.

The Camp Director for the 2022 Batch ‘C’ Stream One, Mr Olumide Adekeye   solicited for support from everyone in order to achieve great success in camp assignment.

He also reiterated on the need for every camp official to be security conscious and be sensitive to their environment.
