Officers of Federal Fire Service visits Ondo Assembly, as Member, Hon. Toyin Allen Advocates for thier presence in Ese-Odo




The officers of Federal Fire Service, led by the South West Zone L Commander and Assistant Comptroller of Fire Service, James Olatunji, paid a courtesy visit to Ondo State House of Assembly on Wednesday July 19, 2023.

While speaking, the Member representing Ese-Odo Constituency, Hon. (Primate) Toyin Allen, harped on the need for the Federal Fire Service to form synergy with Ondo State Fire Service in order to enhance their common goals which revolve around nipping fire incidents across the state in the bud. 

He stressed that Fire Service management should intensify efforts in educating and sensitizing the people of the state on the prevention of fire incident

The Honourable also reiterated the importance of having Fire Service presence in the coastal areas of the state - Ese-Odo and Ilaje Local Government Areas which residents constantly make use of bamboos for building construction, smoking fish and other uses, thereby making them prone to inferno.



Reacting, the Federal Fire Service boss, James Olatunji, said he aligned with Hon. Allen's statement, adding that he would meet with the Speaker of the House and other necessary stakeholders for further deliberation of the matter raised.
