Lagelu: Corps members sensitizes Market women on Environmental hygiene

Some Corps Members in Lagelu local Government area of Oyo State, on Thursday cleared up heaps of refuse at Olorunda Abaa market, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital 

This was done as part of the assiduous efforts aimed at ensuring healthy living in Oyo 

Speaking at the exercise the Corper Liason Officer, Ogunsola Stephen, who highlighted the essential precautions for the exercise, said the reason is to keep the environment clean"

"The Environmental Sanitation exercise was a good one, when our environment is clean, then diseases will not set in" 

Some market women who spoke with our correspondent thanked the corps members for the initiative 


They however promised to ensure thier environment is clean at all time






Newsline NG  however gathered that the Corps Members who troop out en-masse to the venue were so elated to partake in the sanitation exercise and also chanted the slogan of the Lagelu Community Development Service: "No room for filth, Lagelu markets shall remain pristine and invigorating."
