The Ondo state Youth and women Taskforce has asked members of the party to put the incident of April 20th botched governorship primary behind them.
The state Cordinator while addressing press urged them to work in unity for the realisation of the ambition of the party to re elect Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa as the governor of the state.
The State Cordinator said the party had been enmeshed in a deep crisis following the outcome of the party primaries to select the candidates for the 2024 election and the war among Followers of each aspirant
I hereby urge the leaders to close ranks and shelve their personal interests in the overall interest of the party, I call on all aspirants to follow the path of peace and ensure that the party wins the Nov election.
The internal rancor in the party in the state may weaken its influence during the general elections, we cannot fold our hands and allow opposition to take over the state
It is only in unity we can benefit, it is only in unity, we can win.
We call on the Governor to set up a reconciliation committee to reconcile every of the aspirants before the Nov election. Nobody should be downplayed everyone is important to the party.
