The family of Owolewa in Kiribo, Ese-Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State has announced the burial activities of their late patriarch, Chief Alfred Owolewa, the Bobajiroro of Kiribo-Apoi who passed on February 25, 2024.
In a statement issued by the head of the family, Prof. Olusegun Owolewa, through the publicity secretary of the family, Mr. Cornelius Owolewa, the family expressed their appreciation for the outpouring of love and emotions that have greeted the demise of their father.
Before his passing, Chief Alfred Owolewa who aged 90 years old, was a great community leader and educationist of great repute.
In the words of the family, "We express our gratitude to royal fathers, community leaders, retirees, the Catholic Church, friends, political leaders and associates across political parties for their calls, condolence visits, avalanche of soothing words, encomiums and kind remarks on the life and times of our patriarch. We request that you continue to remember us in prayer as the burial ceremonies of our late father are scheduled to hold on June 7 and 8, 2024"
