The Orunja of Odigbo Kingdom, HRM Oba Rufus Akinrinmade, has extended his warm congratulations to Alhaji Amidu Takuro on his appointment as Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
In a statement made available to newsmen, the monarch expressed confidence in the new commissioner's ability to effectively manage the affairs of the ministry
According to the monarch, "Alhaji Amidu Takuro's appointment is a well-deserved recognition of his expertise and dedication to public service. I have no doubt he will perform exceedingly ."
"I am confident that he use his ability to effectively manage the affairs of the ministry, with his wealth of experience, I am confident that he will make a positive impact in the lives of the people"
"This appointment will undoubtedly contribute to the betterment of Ondo State"
The monarch also expressed appreciation to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for entrusting Alhaji Takuro with the responsibility of overseeing the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
"The governor's choice is a reflection of his commitment to excellence"
He, however reaffirmed his commitment to working with the government to promote progress and development in Ondo State.
"As a traditional ruler, I am committed to collaborating with the government to achieve our collective goals," he said.
