In the first lecture of the day titled “Leadership and Discipline,” Pastor Oluwasanmi Oluwashola drew from Ezra 7:10 and Matthew 12:18 to stress the importance of discipline, orderliness, and godly character among members.
He noted that the essence of Royal Shepherds’ drills is to instill responsibility and moral uprightness, rather than aggression or disorderly conduct.
Speaking further,RS Major General Adegbite reiterated that the Royal Shepherds is a voluntary organization under the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Nigeria and overseas emphasizing that its members must embody loyalty to Christ and the Church, moral integrity, and readiness—both physically and spiritually—for the challenges of the end times.
Adegbite identified five pillars of true leadership: spiritual maturity, moral integrity, boldness and courage, mentorship, and loyalty to Christ and the Church. Leadership, he explained, is not about titles or authority but about setting standards, influencing others positively, and leaving a lasting impact.
NOS, RS Adegbite also outlined practical steps for leadership development, including heart preparation, learning, obedience, and continuous practice, while describing the stages of leadership from enlistment to purposeful deployment.
The session ended with closing remarks and prayers led by Sophia Ajayi Regional Commander, RS Major General Pius Olarewaju Ogunjobi
