The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) Branch, has congratulated Professor Ogunwole on his appointment as the new Vice-Chancellor of the institution.
In a goodwill message signed by the Branch Chairman, Comrade Benjamin O. Faleye, and Secretary, Comrade Ayomikun Aluko, the Union described Professor Ogunwole’s emergence as a great recognition of his academic excellence, administrative acumen, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of university education.
The statement reads in part: “Your appointment comes at a defining moment in the life of our University - *a time that calls for renewed trust, collective responsibility, and visionary leadership.* We believe that your wealth of academic experience, administrative competence, and commitment to excellence will usher in a new era of stability, innovation, and progress in FUOYE.”
According to the Union, SSANU-FUOYE expressed optimism that the new Vice-Chancellor’s tenure would usher in *a new era of peace, inclusiveness, and sustained institutional development.* The Union reaffirmed its readiness to collaborate with the new administration to promote staff welfare, academic growth, and overall university progress.
“We are confident that Professor Ogunwole’s wealth of experience, visionary leadership, and passion for excellence will propel FUOYE to greater heights. SSANU, as a responsible stakeholder, pledges its full support and cooperation towards the success of his administration,” the statement added.
