The Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Mountain of Fulfillment, Owo, was a hive of spiritual energy and vibrant youthful expression today, Sunday, November 9, 2025, as the church's Youth Fellowship (CACYOF) successfully hosted its much-anticipated annual Youth Sunday.
The event, which gives young members the platform to coordinate and lead the entire service, was marked by meticulous organization, spirited worship, and a profoundly challenging message that resonated deeply with the congregation.
The special Sunday service, themed around recognizing and seizing crucial moments, served as both a celebration of youth leadership and a powerful call to action.
Newsline NG learnt that, From the opening prayer to the choir ministration, the youthful vibrancy of the Mountain of Fulfillment was on full display as Ushers, choristers, announcers, and technical crew members executed their duties with noticeable excellence, demonstrating the fellowship's commitment to grooming a new generation of disciplined and capable church leaders.
The pivotal moment of the day arrived with the sermon, delivered by Sister Akinfesoye Oluwaseun, a recognized voice within the fellowship.
Speaking under the compelling title, “Time Like This,” Akinfesoye anchored her message in the timeless biblical principle of maximizing every phase of life for divine purpose, urging Christians to embrace diligence and avoid the pitfalls of procrastination in a rapidly changing world.
Sister Akinfesoye wasted no time in capturing the attention of the largely youthful audience, starting by defining the present moment a "Time Like This" not as one of leisure, but as one of immense opportunity and spiritual warfare.
She emphasized that the world is demanding high performance from Christians, and youths, in particular, must shed mediocrity and leverage their energy, intellect, and spiritual fervor for transformative exploits.
In a stirring illustration, the preacher highlighted global challenges and local realities, suggesting that these pressures are a clear signpost indicating the urgency of spiritual awakening.
She drew a parallel between current socio-economic instability and the fleeting nature of opportunities, encouraging the youths to see their talents, education, and connections not as personal possessions, but as a resources given by God for kingdom advancement, especially in the areas of career and entrepreneurship.
She noted that a lack of preparation today results in regret tomorrow, urging the youths to commit to rigorous Bible study and prayer as the foundational preparation for future success, rather than waiting for an 'easier' season that may never come.
