A 55-year-old man, Ademola Joshua, has been arrested by the vigilante group of Nigeria in Ilaramokin, Ifedore Local Government area of Ondo State, for allegedly impregnating a 15-year-old girl.
The Suspect, Ademola Joshua, who came to Ilaramokin for farming, allegedly lured the girl into his room and had carnal knowledge of her.
The girl’s mother, who noticed changes in her child, raised the alarm after a medical test confirmed that the girl was two months pregnant. She said her daughter later confessed that the suspect, who is their neighbour and an indigene of ikota, had sexual relations with her on several occasions.
The suspect was later arrested after he was invited by the family, where he reportedly confessed to sleeping with the teenage girl four times before moving out of the house.
The commandant of the vigilante group of nigeria, Ilaramokin chapter, Mr. Temitayo Idowu, also known as Sango, confirmed the arrest and reaffirmed the group’s commitment to flushing out criminal activities in the community.
The suspect has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
