New details have emerged in the fatal road accident involving professional boxer Anthony Joshua, who miraculously changed seats before the accident.
The accident, which occurred at Makun along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Monday, December 29, claimed the lives of two of Joshua's associates, Sina Ghami and Latif 'Latz' Ayodele
Joshua and the driver of the Lexus LX570, Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, survived with only minor injuries.
Reports indicate that Joshua had swapped seats with one of the deceased passengers minutes before the accident
Kayode, 46, has been charged with four offenses, including causing death by dangerous driving, reckless and negligent driving, driving without due care, and driving without a valid driver's license.
His lawyer, Olalekan Abiodun, revealed that Kayode had asked Joshua to swap seats because he couldn't see the wing mirror properly
The case has been adjourned until January 20, with Kayode pleading not guilty to the charges. Joshua, who was on holiday in Nigeria following his win over Jake Paul, has been receiving support from friends and family
