Pastor Taiwo Ilesanmi Gbamila has resigned from his position as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Multimedia.
His resignation was formally conveyed in a brief letter addressed to the state governor, expressing appreciation for the opportunity to serve in the administration.
In the letter titled “Letter of Resignation,” made available to Newsline NG, Pastor Gbamila thanked the governor for the privilege to contribute to the government’s communication efforts.
“Your Excellency, thank you for the opportunity to serve. I hereby respectfully tender my resignation from my appointment,” the letter read.
Although the former aide did not state the reasons for his decision, sources within the administration indicated that the resignation takes immediate effect.
Newsline NG learnt that Pastor Gbamila was appointed as Senior Special Assistant on Multimedia to strengthen the government’s online presence and public engagement strategy. During his tenure, he was involved in coordinating multimedia content, digital campaigns, and public information dissemination for the administration.
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official statement from the Governor’s Office regarding the resignation or a possible replacement.
