NOUN Alumni Association, Ekiti State Chapter gets New Executives

The Centre Director of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Ekiti Study Centre,  Prof. Mustapha Raheem Adejoro has congratulated the newly elected executives of the National Open University of Nigeria Alumni Association (NOUNAA), Ekiti State Chapter, following their courtesy visit to the centre.

Newsline NG learnt that, the new executives are; Chairman, Mr Dada Adesanya; Vice Chairman, Ajenifuja Emmanuel; .; General Secretary, Iyaniwura Oluwafesimi; Assistant Secretary, Victor B. Olu-Owoeye , Treasurer, Duyilemi Emmanuel T, Public Relations Officer, Bamidele Eleniola.

During the meeting held on Friday , the Director commended the leadership of the alumni association for its commitment to developing the study centre, particularly the ongoing infrastructure projects initiated by the association. 

He also appreciated the Chairman of NOUNAA Ekiti State Chapter and his team for their efforts in adding value to the institution.

Prof. Adejoro urged the newly elected executives to support the vision of the centre’s leadership, aimed at placing the Ekiti Study Centre on the global map.

According to him, “I am happy to be the Director during your tenure as executives because you have performed wonderfully. Continue to work as a team. You have a common goal and must not relent in achieving it. Your cooperation is paramount to success,” The Director said










Earlier, the Desk Officer of NOUNAA Ekiti State Chapter, Mrs Farida Caroline welcomed the new executives and charged them to remain united and focused to move the association forward.

In his remarks, the Chairman of NOUNAA Ekiti State Chapter, Mr Dada Adesanya appreciated the management of the university, the Centre Director, and his team for their continuous support towards the activities of the alumni body.

Dada while highlighting some of the achievements recorded by the association, particularly the ongoing massive infrastructure project being executed by the past executives under the pioneering Excos led by Dr Yomi Ademilua 

In his words" The project was  initiated by the pioneering Excos led by Dr Yomi Ademilua and his team and this present executive under my watch will leverage on this feat to take NOUN Ekiti State to its greater heights 

He noted that the project is the first of its kind among alumni associations across various states, emphasising that the association will continue to add value to the university.



In her closing remarks, the Assistant Registrar, Mrs Eneh Stella thanked the new executives for the visit and prayed for a successful tenure for the leadership team.

Those present at the meeting included the Chairman of NOUNAA Ekiti State Chapter, Secretary to the Study Director, Mrs Fagbemi Grace and the Host of others
