Ondo Regional Superintendent, Pastor Gideon Obiwale visits CAC Oke Alafia DCC headquarters in Odigbo

The Christ Apostolic Church Oke Alafia (DCC) Headquarters in Odigbo came alive on Sunday, March 22, 2026, as members, ministers, and well-wishers gathered in large numbers to receive the Ondo Regional Superintendent, Pastor Gideon Obiwale, in a grand and colourful ceremony.



The visit, which was described by many as historic and spiritually uplifting, was marked with a royal shepherd-style welcome, symbolizing honour and reverence for the regional leader.




Newsline NG learnt that Members and pastors across the DCC Oke Alafia zone trooped to the headquarters in celebration, creating an atmosphere filled with joy, worship, and unity.



Delivering his sermon titled “Having Hope in God,” Pastor Obiwale emphasized the importance of unwavering trust in God’s promises.




He explained that hope in God brings joy, direction, and assurance, even in challenging times. According to him, believers who anchor their faith in God are guaranteed divine guidance and lasting peace.



The Regional Superintendent further encouraged congregants not to waver in their faith, stressing that hope remains a vital pillar in the Christian journey. 





He urged the faithful to remain steadfast, reminding them that God’s promises never fail and are always fulfilled in due time.



In his remarks, the DCC Superintendent, Pastor Akinjide John, expressed deep appreciation to Pastor Obiwale for honouring the invitation. 




He also commended members of the church for their unwavering support and for organizing such a warm and befitting reception.



Pastor Akinjide highlighted the significance of the visit, noting that it would further strengthen the spiritual growth of the church and deepen unity among members. 




He called on the congregation to continue working together in harmony for the progress of the ministry.




Adding colour to the service, the church choir delivered soul-lifting renditions centered on the theme “Unity.” Their performance underscored the importance of togetherness in achieving growth and development within the church, drawing applause from the congregation.



The event also attracted the presence of several DCC pastors as well as traditional leaders from the Odigbo Kingdom, reflecting the strong relationship between the church and the community. Their attendance added cultural significance and prestige to the occasion.




Many attendees including DCC secretary Pastor Olajorin Joseph and Pastor Moses OJO and many other anointing men of God who spoke with our correspondent described the service as impactful and memorable, noting that the message of hope and unity resonated deeply.
