The Youth Rescue Mission Interdenominational Ministry has announced plans for its 2026 Annual Youth Convention, aimed at empowering young people spiritually and morally across denominations.
The event is expected to attract youths and teenagers from different parts of the country for a time of worship, teaching, and fellowship.
Speaking with Newsline NG, the Convener, Mr Godwin Odah said, the convention will hold from April 22 to April 25, 2026, with a focus on deepening participants’ relationship with God.
"The theme of this year’s gathering, “That I May Know Him,” is drawn from the biblical text in Philippians 3:10, emphasizing the pursuit of spiritual knowledge and intimacy with Christ.
"The venue for the four-day programme has been fixed at CAC Mount of Fulfilment, located behind First Molac in Owo, Ondo State. The choice of venue provides a serene and conducive environment for spiritual retreat and youth engagement.
Speaking ahead of the convention, Odah noted that the annual gathering is designed specifically for youths and teenagers, with tailored sessions that address contemporary challenges facing young people in society.
He explained that the programme would feature spirit-filled ministrations, interactive teachings, counseling sessions, and musical worship designed to inspire and guide participants toward purposeful living.
He further emphasized that the convention is interdenominational, welcoming participants from various Christian backgrounds, thereby fostering unity and collective growth among young believers.
"This convention is expected to serve as a platform for mentorship, where experienced ministers and youth leaders will provide guidance and encouragement to attendees navigating life decisions and spiritual development.
