The Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC),Prince Olabiyi Olaleye Poroye has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians, urging them to reflect on the significance of the season marked by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In his Easter message made available to Newsline NG, Poroye emphasized the importance of Christ’s sacrifice, describing it as a symbol of love, redemption, and hope for humanity.
He noted that the season serves as a reminder of the enduring promise of eternal life for believers.
The OSOPADEC Chairman called on citizens, particularly those in oil-producing communities, to embrace the virtues of peace, unity, and selflessness as exemplified by Jesus Christ.
He stressed that such values are essential for fostering harmony and sustainable development across the state.
Poroye however encouraged residents to remain hopeful despite prevailing socio-economic challenges, expressing confidence that the spirit of Easter would inspire renewed faith and resilience among the people.
