The Regent of Ore Kingdom, High Chief Benjamin Akindele Aladenika Adaja, has reaffirmed his commitment to fostering unity and driving sustainable development across the community.
He also unveiled a forward-looking agenda focused on economic growth, cultural preservation and improved security.
The Regent made this known during an event held in Ore, Odigbo Local Government area of Ondo State, where he addressed community stakeholders, traditional leaders and residents on his priorities during his reign.
Speaking on his vision, High Chief Adaja said his administration would prioritise peace, inclusive governance and sustainable development.
He described Ore as a community with vast economic potential and assured that deliberate efforts would be made to attract investment, enhance infrastructure and empower young people.
He emphasised that meaningful progress would depend on strong collaboration between government, private investors and the people of the community.
On cultural matters, the Regent stressed the importance of preserving the rich traditions and customs of Ore Kingdom.
Addressing security concerns, he reiterated his commitment to ensuring the safety of lives and property.
He said plans were underway to work closely with security agencies, local vigilante groups and community leaders to strengthen surveillance and intelligence gathering. He further called on residents to remain vigilant and support ongoing efforts to combat crime.
In his message to the people, the Regent urged unity, patience and a shared sense of responsibility, noting that the collective support of residents is essential for meaningful development.
He also expressed appreciation to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his continued support for traditional institutions, as well as the State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Amidu Takuro, for strengthening grassroots governance and chieftaincy administration across the state.
