Ahead of the 2027 general elections, prominent grassroots mobiliser Ambassador Oladipupo Babatunde Okeyomi, popularly known as CarryGo, has predicted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will secure widespread electoral victories across Nigeria, citing the administration's achievements and the strength of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the grassroots.
Speaking during an exclusive interview, Okeyomi said the Renewed Hope Agenda has continued to win the confidence of Nigerians, adding that the President's performance would translate into increased support across the country's six geopolitical zones.
He projected that the APC would maintain a strong showing in the North, with at least 25 per cent of votes across the region and up to 50 per cent in states such as Borno and parts of the North-East.
According to him, the South-West remains the party's strongest base, where President Tinubu is expected to secure a minimum of 50 per cent of votes, rising to between 60 and 70 per cent in strategic states.
Okeyomi also predicted that the President would obtain between 30 and 35 per cent of votes in the South-East despite stiff opposition, while the APC would win at least 40 per cent of votes in the South-South through sustained grassroots mobilisation.
He attributed the expected electoral success to what he described as the administration's visible achievements in economic reforms, infrastructure development, education, energy and social investment programmes.
According to him, the administration's performance has strengthened public confidence and positioned the APC favourably ahead of the next general election.
He concluded by expressing confidence that the party's grassroots structures across the country would effectively mobilise voters and ensure victory for President Tinubu in 2027.
