Veteran Yoruba actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has reportedly been diagnosed with stage four cancer, with his daughter appealing to medical, spiritual and traditional practitioners who may have treatment options that could help her father.
The actor’s daughter said the family is not seeking financial assistance, stressing that what they need is someone with the knowledge or capacity to treat Ogogo.
According to her, Senator Yayi has been supporting the family and has been footing the actor’s medical bills.
She appealed to medical professionals, spiritual practitioners and reputable traditional medicine practitioners who may have effective treatment options to contact the family directly.
She said: “All we want is someone who can treat our dad. We are not looking for financial help because Senator Yayi has been the one footing his medical bills.
“He is currently at stage four. We are appealing to anyone who can treat him, whether medically, spiritually or through traditional treatment, to please send us a direct message.”
The appeal has generated concern among fans and colleagues of the veteran actor, as the family continues to seek possible treatment options for his condition.
